Developed on a 500 acre site the Divis Hyderabad manufacturing facility comprises of 13 production buildings Pilot Plant and a kilo lab. The plant consists of around 314 reactors totalling a capacity of 1293 m³.

The production buildings have clearly defined finished product areas for APIs with clean air, purified water systems that operate under full cGMP as per US-FDA guidelines.

The facility was successfully inspected by US-FDA in Feb, 2008(which itself was a third inspection; the first two are in Sept 2000 and April 2004).

The Hyderabad facility has been certified for the following management systems.

There are special production blocks to handle Corrosive, Cyanation, Hydrogenation, Bromination, Nitration reactions and high vacuum distillations. The plant also has services that include cooling with liquid nitrogen, brine, cool water, heating with thermal oil or steam, 100% standby power, warehouses & bulk solvent storage tank farms.

Process R&D has state of art equipment like automated multifunctional reaction units. Chemical hazard evaluation studies are carried and basis of safety is established for all the processes. Manufacturing activities are supported with well equipped Quality Control laboratories and an elaborate Quality Assurance and training centre. A Modernized Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with latest equipment like aerators, clarifiers, air blowers , Chemical process Hazard evaluation lab, GMP kilo lab facility , forced evaporation , reverse osmosis etc., handle liquid effluents and treats them chemically and biologically (aerobic & anaerobic) to the specified standards. Incineration is the process employed to treat organic solids, liquids and gases.
