  • At Divi’s, research & development is driven by a science-driven approach aimed at developing commercially viable processes that remain cost-effective throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Our three R&D centres are operated by competent teams of ~700 scientists. These teams focus on continuous process improvement, technologies integration, and rigorous application of the Principles of Green Chemistry for scalable and sustainable manufacturing.
  • Our R&D capabilities enable us to refine methodologies that advance resource conservation and prioritise workforce safety across all operations.
  • Process Development and Support Centers (PDSC), located within our manufacturing units, are responsible for developing efficient, environmentally friendly processes and scaling them from gram-scale to commercial production. Key scope includes process optimisation, impurity profiling, pilot studies, pre-validation batches, process validation, and technology transfer.
  • PDSC team also provides critical cross-functional support by reviewing process performance, assisting Quality Assurance teams in investigations, and supporting the Regulatory Affairs in addressing queries from global health authorities.
